Unity they say is strength and the strength of a broomstick is in their numbers. It is at the back of these adage says that renowned presenter and media personality, Mohammed Abdul Fatawu, well known as DJ Zola expressed his worries about the current disunited state of the entertainment industry in Tamale.
According to DJ Zola, the industry is capable of building it’s own empire which could equally assume national relevance and recognition but for the disunity among the industry players.
“The industry is suffering today because there’s no unity in it, it seems to belong to nobody. .. it is not structured so everyone comes in, do what they want and leave as and when they like” he said
However, DJ Zola has blamed the disunity in the industry on the old generation of the industry players saying that
“the old generation of industry players are to be blamed for it, they must understand that they’ve served the industry enough and should retire for the new generation to take the industry up, I believe they can do it without them”
“they have done their best to bring it this far and they must allow the new generation of industry players to carry on, they seem to interfere too much in the current affairs, I see them as insignificant to the current industry a reason I don’t monitor any discussions which features them” he added
The conversation was recorded on North Arts last night July 28, 2021 with regular host Sadik Cybha and rapper Saani.
