Renowned Ghanaian radio personality,blogger, philanthropist and Influencer, Nash Iddi, has revealed his disappointment in the self-acclaimed ruler(Fancy Gadam) and his management regarding the “One Don EP.
In current circumstances,Ghana music industry,basically in Tamale has been on heat with reference to the misunderstanding of the difference between an Extended Play (EP) and Album.
The whole brouhaha commenced when the 5 minutes music honcho (Fancy Gadam) released the tracklist of his forthcoming EP dubbed “One Don” consisting of eight(8) tracks.Many people including industry players are of the view that it’s unprofessional on the side of Fancy to have mistaken an Album for an EP.
Reason been that the number of tracks on the One Don EP is way over the required number of tracks for an EP under normal circumstance and per the criteria of an Extended Play.
In an entertainment deliberation on Tamale based radio (Gbangu Fm),the entertainment analyst expressed his disappointment in Fancy Gadam and his management for not been able to differentiate between an EP and Album,when he was hooked on air by the regular host of the E-360 Show (Mr. Kpeewa) on Sunday,10th of October 2021.
Having said that,Mr. Nash cautioned Fancy Gadam and his team to instantaneously scrap two songs from the tracklist to meet the qualification of an EP, otherwise change the classification from EP to an Album.
