A Tamale based Ghanaian fast rising and potential superstar, born Mohammed Abdul-Rashid but famed in the Music and Art Industry as King Rashidoo reveals why his parents, specifically his mother stopped him from doing music sometime ago before he comes back on Sagani TV Chop De Mic.
According to the rapper as monitored by this channel on “Weekend Live” with Classy on Radio Tamale, he started music sometime back as a rapper, went to a talent show popularly known as “Judgement Yard” and was finally stopped by his mother due to religious affiliations. However, his well doing father was able to convince the mother that music is all about the content, and not just totally bad per say.
Most Artists, especially down here the northern part of Ghana suffers this same challenge on the part of the parents. Hence King Rashidoo’s situation serves as a clew for other parents to advice their children to create better lyrical content than rather just stopping then totally.
